A pre-wedding dinner food tasting and decor layout audition @ grand hyatt. No one can really complain about the quality of the food there, but obviously a final endorsement by the folks and my meticulous (fussy) sister would be better.

So pretty its alluring and almost provocative. One first look and you dont even bother to check out the specs, how many MP is the camera, got expendable memory or not, got 3G or not, sole question i'm concerned with...

Only the iPhone ever came close to stirring up such a crave.

HIDs on the R1

Always liked the R1, one of my all-time favs in fact. I always feel projector headlamps are never completed, and always a waste, without wearing HIDs. It's almost an eyesore in fact. :P

Mr Management decided to come out of the yellow shadows and put on the much-awaited 6000k HIDs conversion. Looks great isnt it? ;)

Ray + Hanni's ROM

A relationship persevering for more than 10 yrs and an event put together in less than 50 days. The 'love marathon' has been going for so long its almost suppositional, friends since primary sch days and lovers since secondary, so its just fitting that the solemnisation be wrapped up at Ai Tong.

Kudos to the M.M.M. boys and girls for the help and enthusiasm for the entire day, all cladded in shirt and pants, dresses and blouses and yet sweating it out helping to organise and making sure that things flow in the right place, at the right time, all in a blessing mood for the couple. There was even one that MIA for the longest time and yet turned up (to mark attendance). No more lame excuses this time round, well done well done.

Gatherings like this gives u the chance to reminisce about our friendship and brotherhood, the original cast at the beginning, the fresh faces coming in, the old ones going out as well as the faithful few that still remain. (not forgetting the ones over in the west and down under)

There were a grand total of 64 dents well-spread over both sides of the car. Would've made more economical sense to respray the entire car and remove the dents & scratches at the same time. But i'm taking no chances, the results wont be optimal and money wont be well-spent.

So i set out on the first step, making it go through an entire day of dent removing facial treatment at LD.



Tommy's the go-to man for this job, meticulous and professional, makes removing the deepest dent looks easy.

8 hours later, both door panels were revitalised. Even the longitudinal ones (caused by big-assed passengers and motorists alighting MPVs and SUVs) are all well covered.

To top it off, i took the liberty to replace the stock front grille. It would've been nice to change to the Ings+1 or mugen-pro, but its afterall a she-ride so the ideas were dropped.



Jazzy does look a tad sterner now though.

Scratches are still plenty around, we're hoping the almighty Glare treatment might mitigate 'em all.
