My last soccer match at the kallang stadium dated way back in 1997 when newcastle came for an exhibition match vs the lions. It was terrible on the way to the stadium thou, jam for almost 1.5 hrs on cte enroute to kallang, and another 1.5hrs jams trying to get out of kallang to selegie. But it was all worth the time effort and petrol cos we kicked msia out of the tournament on penalties *cheers*

And many thanks to gf for getting that pair of coveted tickets (foc) so we dont have to queue up ;)

Departure of a bro

(9th January 2007)

We're very sad that he's leaving us for 18 mths. But he's pursuing a damn powerful masters paper and we can all borrow $$ from him when he's back then :)

~ PimpMyRide ~ Tein Flex

Before

After much research and opinions seeked through forums and past-users, i eventually decided on the Tein Flex over Cusco 02R. I included the EDFC for damping adjustment for future track use. On any other days, the setting shall remain on the softest.

Ride is more solid now, and not as bumpy as what i expected. Ride height adjusted to 2 fingers from the wheel arc to the tyres, as the chargespeed bumper would've been too low for practical usage.

Looking back at 2006

A walk down memory lane, the major events gone by in 2006:

1) Valentino Rossi lost his MotoGP throne to Nicky Hayden
2) Michael Schumacher lost his F1 throne (again) to Fernando Alonso, and retired for good.
3) Zinedine Zidane got sent off for headbutting Materazzi in WC finals and so Italy is the champs

4) Completed a mission impossible 12 modules and 38 AUs within a semester and graduated from NTU just in time
5) Then got my first job and quitted within 3 mths :p
6) First expedition trip overseas with the boys to BKK
7) Got my golf PC, and my first game on the green in Bintan Lagoon
8) Travelled to malacca and scored a new high 240km/h with the wrx
9) Completed my first half marathon in 2hr26min
10) Lastly, to rediscover an old crush + new love, falling totally into it again. :)

And my resolutions 2007:

1) Quit smoking
2) Get my golf handicap
3) Get my Class 2 license
4) Go back and study again (argh...)
5) Another half marathon
6) Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong
7) Gudang & Sepang track (on the wrx)
8) Lose 6kg
9) Rid of the acne
10) To be even more in love and still be head over heels.

It had been a season of ups and downs, definitely more ups thou. The closing chapter was a particularly sweet one, and brought on the smiles going into the new yr. (^_^)

Looking forward to more love, fun, laughter and alcohol in 2007~~~ *cheers*
